Reckless Driving Law Is Urged

Mary Gray

County State Attorney Glenn F Ivey said there was enough evidence to charge Chavez with vehicular homicide in Maryland, which requires a driver to show that he acted with gross negligence, one of the highest standard in this nation. Instead, after a year of investigation, was issued Officer Mario Chavez ticket for a traffic accident in December 2007 where he died Brian Gray. When Mary Grays 20-year-old son was killed after his car was hit by a speeding off-duty Prince Georges County police officer who recognized the first night of drinking in the morning accident, she thought the officer would deserved to go to jail.
